BLUE WAVE BOYS LACROSSE CAMP
(Entering Grades 3-9) The camp’s goal is to stimulate the love of the sport of lacrosse. The camp is dedicated to provide individual instruction to players of all ages and abilities. A low player-to-coach ratio and players-to-field ratio make for a great teaching and learning environment. Instruction will include the fundamental skills, tactics and techniques of lacrosse. The members of the staff represent years of coaching and playing experience. All aspects of the game will be covered including:
(1) Passing & Shooting;
(2) Catching & Scooping;
(3) Cradling & Dodging;
(4) Offensive Movement;
(5) Defensive Position & Techniques; and
(6) Game Tactics and Strategies.
Goalies will be provided extra instruction. Individualized instruction by a knowledgeable coaching staff that represents years of coaching and playing experience. Campers are certain to leave camp with a greater understanding and enjoyment of the game of lacrosse.

Jeff Brameier, Founder of Elite Sports Camps and Director of Future Star Sport Camps is the 24-year Head Coach of Darien High School Boys Lacrosse. In his tenure Jeff has accumulated 373 wins. He is a four-time Connecticut High School Coach of Year (’88, ’92, ’97 & ’99) and has coached 10 FCIAC and five State Championship Teams. Coach Brameier has served as President of the Connecticut HS Lacrosse Coaches Association –for 20 years. He has coached 49 High School All-Americans and 78 High School All-State Players.

The camp’s goal is to provide top level instruction in the sport of lacrosse. This Winter program is dedicated to provide individual and team conceptual instruction to the 8th Grade player interested in taking his game to the next level. Jeff Brameier a.k.a Coach B and Jim McAleavey will foster a great teaching and learing environment. Instruction will include the fundamental and advanced skills, tactics, and techniques of lacrosse. These two coaches and the members of their staff represent years of coaching and playing experience. All aspects of the game will be covered:

MEET THE DIRECTOR OF BOYS LACROSSE JEFF BRAMEIER
Well known in the Darien community as a coach and instructor, “Coach B” is currently the Head Lacrosse Coach for Darien High School where he has lead the program to over 370 wins over 24 years. He has developed 49 High School All-American and 77 High School All-State players. Coach B is a 4-Time Connecticut High School Coach of the Year and is President of Connecticut High School Coaches Association. Along with his years of experience and passion for the sport, he will bring other talented players/coaches including Scott Bulkley and select Darien Lacrosse players.
James McAleavey is a former 3 x Division I All-American at UMASS, 2 x High School All-American, Irish National Team member, and Head Coach of Team CT who brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the program.
